At the Himalayan Buddhist Meditation Center, daily yoga and meditation are complimentary for all guests, guided by professional instructors. Teaching sessions and sound-healing therapies are also offered, on a chargeable basis. If the space is free, in-house guests are welcome to practise on their own.

    Kathmandu is ringed by hills of trails—Shivapuri National Park, Nagarkot, Chapadevi, Changunarayan, and Nagarjun. Guided, 4–10 hours, off-property. Subject to additional cost.

    Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur are renowned for art and craft—galleries, handmade paper and carpet, pashmina, wood carving and metal-statue workshops. Guided, 4–8 hours.
